The idea:

We transformed Hackney House (Shoreditch) into a multipurpose space which encompassed exclusive industry panel sessions and workshops during the daytime, then transformed into a club experience with intimate DJ sets spanning over the three floors during evenings.

We designed and installed the creative concept over the entire venue including all three floors, the terrace, as well as the building exterior. This represented cutting-edge UK youth culture as well as seamlessly integrating MTV and supporting brands within the design. To further create a unique space, we used elements of domestic interior to create a homely feel enhanced with areas of colour block decor to bring the House of MTV to life.

To increase the reach of the house through an online presence, we broadcasted the panels and performances through Facebook Live.

The impact:

Sponsored by Voxi by Vodafone, MTV Breaks held 10 sold out sessions across four days at the House of MTV. A total of 45 talent and industry insiders hosted panels and performances – Tinie Tempah, Nadia Rose, AJ Tracey, Sister Bliss, the cast of Geordie Shore, Kerry Taylor, Kojey Radical and Snoochie Shy to name a few.
